How long does it usually take to start our project?

Typically it depends on how backed up we are, what the weather is doing outside obviously we can’t tear your roof off when its pouring down rain. What we try to do is keep it within a 2 or 3 week window. Sometime we go a little bit further than that from the time you put your deposit down to when we start your project. It just depends on the weather, but most of the time projects are completed within a month to 5 weeks.

What are all the warranties you offer?

The type of warranties that we offer we’d like to use CertainTeed shingle products.The reason why we do that we’re certified contractors with CertainTeed we get a life time manufacturers warranty using architectural shingle we utilize three other products other than the shingles during the installation so that covers a lifetime warranty from Certain Teed then we in addition to that from Southeast Roofing Contracting give a 10 year labor warranty.

How do we get a Warranty?

The base thing you need to do is contact the southeast roofing office and discuss the issue that is going on we will come out there and we’ll do another inspection on the property see what caused the issue. If there was any installation problems we actually take care of it with no cost to you the home owner. If it is a manufactures issue we will contact the manufacturer directly and come out and represent you on your house with the manufacture’s representative to get your claim approved so we can get it taken care of for you.

SRC FAQ Are you Licensed and Insured?

We are actually licensed in the entire state of Georgia for on a specialty license for roofing contractors we are also licensed in Gilmer county and in the city of Ellijay. We do carry a 2 million dollar liability policy as well. So we are pretty much covered from the hilt. We do some projects over $25,000 that do require a surety bond and we purchase those individually based on the project if someone is required to have one.

How long does it usually take to complete a roofing project?

Typically to finish a roofing project from start to finish we show up on the job site early in the morning to get things going.We can finish a project within 2 days at the very most. Shingle projects typically start to finish in one day. Metal projects usually take 2.

Why do people put a deposit on their roofing project?

We require fifty percent material deposit on your roofing project the reason why we do that is we have as much interest in getting that project completed as you do so we kinda split it down the middle ya’ll cover the materials we get the project one-hundred percent finished and then when the project is one-hundred percent finished and your happy than we collect the final deposit so you take a risk we take a risk when we originally sign the job.
